I Want to Adopt a Bullie!

We think it is terrific that you would like to give a loving home to one of our beautiful bullies. Please read the adoption policies below before you begin. Once you have read these policies, you may view available bullies at www.bulliebuddies.petfinder.com or continue directly to the Adoption Application. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about one of our dogs.

Please understand that for the safety of our dogs we will not schedule a meet between an interested person and a dog until we have received a completed Adoption Application. Please make sure that you give us a correct e-mail address that you can and will check for a response once your application is submitted. If we cannot get through to you, we cannot complete the application process!

Adoption Policies

Please read these policies prior to submitting an Adoption Application. There will be no exceptions made to these policies.

1. We do not place pit bull dogs in a home with a pit bull of the same gender, unless the home is extremely pit bull experienced. We are the sole judges of the experience level, and the decision on the placement will be made only by us.

2. We do not adopt out puppies under 16 weeks of age.

3. All dogs are altered (including puppies), vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption.

4. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption we feel is not in the best interest of the dog.

5. If you are a renter, a copy of your lease agreement as well as your landlord's name and telephone number are required. If you live in a subdivision, a copy of your CC&R's is required.

6. We retain the right to check on the well-being of the adopted dog for an indefinite period of time.

7. All applicants are requred to go through a screening proces which includes a completed Adoption Application, phone interview, reference check and home visit.

8. Unless otherwise specified, our Adoption Fee is $150 payable to Bullie Buddies of Las Vegas when the Adoption Contract is signed. You can also pay your adoption fee online using Paypal. Instructions are given prior to completion of the adoption.

9. Our adoption are includes, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, California and Oregon. All members of the household (including other dogs) are expected to meet the dog prior to finalization of adoption. We will not ship the dog - you will need to either pick up the dog or make other arrangements for transport thorugh a rescue volunteer network. We can assist you with this.

10. Bullie Buddies of Las Vegas may alter, edit, add to or delete from these Adoption Policies wihtout notice at any time at its discretion.
